GOTCHA DAY!
Welcome Bogie into the PupKeepers Family! And “thank you” to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, Dog Warden Division, for creating this collage of moments that led up to Bogie’s adoption and Freedom Ride to his new PupKeepers home!
A little bit about Bogie…he’s a 7 year old, 45 pound (malnourished) Tree Walker Coonhound, who has lived his entire life on a chain, outdoors, in Ohio’s 100°+ heat to -20° snow/ice, thunderstorms plus all kinds of weather in between. Additionally he was caught multiple times, by the Dog Warden, running loose in the streets of Canton, Ohio, dodging traffic. If that lifetime of neglect wasn’t enough, he was also diagnosed twice with Lyme’s Disease. The Dog Warden pressured the owner to surrender Bogie to the Shelter. The owner finally relented. Paul and I saw Bogie’s video posted to the Stark County Dog Warden’s Office’s Facebook page. Of course we had to permanently adopt this super sweet boy who just needed a soft place to land where he would be loved, respected, kept safe and receive the quality care that he so desperately deserves.
We hope you enjoy Bogie’s video montage!
